About Pamela

Pamela is originally from Kansas City, MO, and currently resides in Georgia. She has been married to Steve for 26 years, and they have three children: Victoria (23), Nicolas (22), and Madison (20). They also have the added blessing of their son-in-law, Wyatt. Pamela has a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling and Practical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She is an adjunct professor at Lancaster Bible College, overseeing their practicum program within their MA in Christian Care. Pamela previously taught in Colorado Christian University's MA in Professional Counseling program, and currently serves as an OTA for SBTS and Boyce College.

Pamela has experience counseling adults and adolescents who have endured sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, and same-sex attraction. She also has almost two decades of experience in marriage and family counseling. 

Pamela has counseled in a variety of settings: She worked as a licensure candidate at an inpatient children’s center where she helped teens who were sexually abused and sexually abused others, and their co-occurring struggles, such as suicidal ideations and attempts, depression, anxiety, and other issues concerning their conduct and attachments. She also worked in outpatient settings with teens and their families. Pamela has provided pro bono and low-cost biblical counseling to churches in South Korea, Oklahoma, and Colorado Springs. Pamela enjoys painting, walking trails, pickleball, and cornhole.
