Carrie McCormick completed a Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University in 2018, has recently completed Level 1 certification and is currently pursuing Level 2 certification through the Association of Biblical Counselors.  

Carrie spent several years in Nashville, Tennessee, serving in diverse roles ranging from nonprofit refugee resettlement to teaching English as a second language. While these experiences and people were dear to her heart, they ultimately fueled a deeper desire to care for the "heart" through the lens of the Gospel. Now back in her native Jackson, Mississippi, she lives in the "hospitality state" with her husband of 11 years and their two young daughters. 

Carrie primarily walks alongside women navigating parenting, infidelity, anxiety, depression, and relational struggles. Having spent years sitting with individuals from diverse walks of life, she views herself as an instrument used to help others see the purposeful, loving work of God’s hand through life’s difficulties and suffering. Her approach blends clinical insight with a commitment to drawing counselees into the likeness of Christ, seeking His glory in the midst of everyday challenges.
